The Snow Bear

The Snow Bear is located at 22 Firehouse Road in Taos Ski Valley. From Hwy 150 you will crest over the hill and down into the ski valley Public lots, stay right on the main road and then turn right onto Firehouse Road at the blue directional sign for the Children’s Ski School/Rio Hondo Learning Center, Snow Bear, Kandahar, Mogul Medical, Rio Hondo, etc. 

At the traffic circle bear right past the firehouse and up Firehouse road until it plateaus below Snow Bear’s two wood clad buildings.

Turn left up the mountain at the plateau keeping the buildings on your right shoulder and then once you pass the one story building swing wide left and turn right into the parking lot even with the one story building entrance. Pull into an open spot facing left angled into the mountain.

If you are coming up in the winter time, as with most travel in the mountains, Four Wheel Drive/ All Wheel Drive is necessary. Two wheel drive is just fine in the summer time. Park in our main lot next to the one-story building, please angle into the mountain. Only one car per condo is allowed to stay overnight in this lot.
