Amizette Cabin
Taos Ski Valley
Private and cozy stand alone cabin on a 1/2 acre surrounded by old growth forest. Cabin is just minutes from the base of Taos Ski Valley for year round recreation, shopping, dining, provisions. Just 10 minutes from Arroyo Seco, 30 minutes from Taos. Sweet deck with mountain views to soak up the sun and relax after an epic day on the mountain and listen to the sound of the rio hondo nearby. Room for 4 people, ideal for 2, or family of 4. One bathroom one main queen bedroom, and two convertible sofa sleepers in the living area, a twin (only about 5' long) and a double (6' long). Bedding for all sleeping spots. Great kitchen for folks who love to cook, but microwave and toaster oven for on-the-go convenience. Roku TV lets you get all your favorite streaming services in the comfortable living area. If you love the mountains the place is pretty much small-scale perfection.

Reviews
Late Fall Stay
by Robert OmanskyI did a personal retreat meditating, journaling and hiking. The cabin was perfect, great location, close to great hiking trails, surprisingly quiet even though close to road. The cabin was set up the hill so one felt being surrounded by nature and had a panoramic view of the mountains from the front porch deck. Inside was extremely comfortable with all the needed amenities, tastefully decorated perfect blend of rustic and yet up to date. I loved the woodstove, even though there was plenty of heat without. The hosts were super responsive and accommodating. Will definitely return next year.
Amazing Place!!
by TraciAmazing place!! We were < than 5 minutes from Taos ski valley parking lot and shuttle to base (all free). We cooked breakfast daily and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable and had a down comforter. Water was always hot! There is an instapot, hot water kettle, coffee pot, and plenty of pots and pans.
Be sure to stop in the Town of Taos for food before coming up the mountain. The 2 stores at the mountain base that offer groceries has minimal supply and is very expensive. We stopped at Smiths and purchased everything we needed. The Walmart in Taos is small and has a poor selection of groceries. Taos ski valley has very limited dining choices at the beginning of the week. We would have made a dinner or two if we had know. The Taos Ale house was delicious and we went a couple of times.
The driveway is a bit steep so if it snows, you may have trouble getting up to the stairs of the cabin if you don’t have all-wheel or 4 wheel drive.
Exceeded Our Expectations
by BradWe loved our time here! The cabin was very nice and exceeded our expectations in every way. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone considering it.
Great for a Summer Getaway
by TobyVery nicely renovated cabin. Spacious for 2 people. Great for a summer getaway in the mountains. It was a little closer to the road than we expected, but when we were there, traffic noise was not a problem.
Refreshing Break from Big City Life
by SheriThis bungalow was exactly the private place we were craving. The sound of the stream was magical and provided a perfect background for reading and a little work.
There were several options for hiking followed by a delicious meal from several restaurant options .It was an easy drive to Taos to shop or eat.
It was a refreshing break from big city life. Greg was always very responsive when questions arose.
Too-short stay!
by KatyWe had a great, though too-short stay. The cabin is a great size for a couple or small family. We were traveling with our kids and found the place easily and enjoyed easy access both to Taos and TSV. The cabin was super clean and cozy.
